Dr. Sonson was born and raised in Hawaii. "I've always wanted to come back home to practice." In 2001, Dr. Sonson was fortunate enough to open his practice in the beautiful town of Kailua, after several years as an associate in Honolulu. As Kailua Town is redefining itself, Dr. Sonson has also moved in October 2007 into a new state-of-the-art dental office in the new Straub Building.
Dr. Sonson is dedicated to offering current techniques and services to his patients. In order to achieve this level of service, Dr. Sonson and his staff take time off from their busy schedules to attend continuing education class both locally and on the mainland. Dr. Sonson is a Kailua dentist dedicated to staying "high tech". He is also one of the first in Kailua to use digital xrays, which uses less radiation. Dr. Sonson always tries to keep the patient's best interest at heart. He uses the WIDIOM rule..."Would I Do It On Mom?" and applies it to all of his patients.
Dr. Sonson's practice focuses on comprehensive dental care. He also offers cosmetic bleaching using Britesmile, Invisalign braces, and porcelain veneers and restorations. "It's satisfying to see the smiles of patient's after we transform their smiles."
